Apple has officially announced the latest addition to its desktop lineup, the M6 Mac Mini, which features a powerful M6 chip equipped with a 12-core CPU and a 12-core GPU. The base model comes standard with 16GB of unified memory and a 256GB SSD for storage, while a model with a 512GB SSD is also available for preorder.
Notably, the 512GB configuration can currently be preordered at Amazon for $1,070, which is a slight discount compared to the original Apple price of $1,099.
In addition to the enhanced processing capabilities, both models of the M6 Mac Mini introduce cutting-edge connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, marking a significant upgrade for the line. They also come equipped with three Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI port, and a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port, ensuring fast wired networking.
